2008 Toughest Cowboy playoffs from Nashville begin airing this weekend on Fox Sports Net

DENVER – The Playoffs for the 2008 World’s Toughest Rodeo™ featuring Toughest Cowboy™, rolls into the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn., and Fox Sports Network (FSN) will broadcast all the exciting action beginning Saturday at midnight. Following seven regular-season stops it is time to separate the men from the boys in this one-of-a-kind ironman of rodeo event. This revolutionary rodeo competition is the only tour where each cowboy must ride two broncs and a bull in one night. The match winners in Nashville will advance to the Championship in Columbus, Ohio, and will move one step closer to answering the burning question, “Who will win the Touhest Cowboy Ranch?”

The match-up that everyone is talking about is the top seeded cowboy, Bandy Murphy, going against the eighth seeded cowboy Chad Eubank. Eubank, who returned to the Tour last week in St. Paul following a knee injury to B.J. Schumacher, is likely to be a big threat as he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. With the playoffs setup as a winner take all type format, meaning the winner of each match will advance to the Championship round in Columbus, it is really anyone’s game and everyone better come ready to ride as there are no guarantees.

The second seeded cowboy Shane Proctor will face the seventh seeded cowboy Jared Green. After a disappointing finish in St. Paul, Green will be looking for a little redemption in Nashville, while Proctor hopes to keep his momentum going on his quest for Toughest Cowboy Ranch.

In the three versus six seed matchup it will be Erik Wolford doing battle with Clovis Crane. Crane would like nothing better than to win the Ranch, while Wolford is determined to  stop Crane in his quest for the title. Either way one of these two will move one step closer to winning the ranch following the stop in Nashville.

The final matchup in the Playoffs pits Trey Broussard against Nelson Tsosie. With the closest seeding, this match-up should be good watching.

Fans can watch each exciting episode of Toughest Cowboy weekly on several FSN affiliates in primetime (day and time depend on each affiliate) and at midnight every Saturday nationwide. Click here to find broadcast times in your FSN region.
