The O'Reilly Auto Parts World's Toughest Rodeo featuring Toughest Cowboy™ rolls into Conseco Fieldhouse for the second stop of the 2009 Tour
(Indianapolis, IN)—The 2009 Toughest Cowboy season is in full swing and the fans in Indianapolis are just days away from witnessing the only all-around roughstock tour in the United States. Mark Burnett Production will be on hand to capture all the action for the upcoming TV broadcast season on Spike TV.
This is a full night of western entertainment including the antics of the world’s smallest cowboy, Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and his dog-riding tricks, Wild Chuck Wagon Races, and spectacular women’s barrel racing. After the Tournament, fans of all ages can “Party on the Dirt” in a special post-event concert featuring Grand Ole Opry stars and Nashville recording group Whiskey Falls.
Tickets start at just $18 and kids 12 and under are half price (valid on select seats). Tickets can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com, the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone (317) 239-5151.

- Listen to the “Rodeo Roundup with Ron Penn” on WXRB-AM (AM1610) Radio Brownsburg starting at 4:00 p.m. for a preview of the WTR
- Watch WTHR CH 13 with Tim “Treeboy” Bush beginning at 6:15 am and see 2007 Toughest Cowboy Champion Bandy Murphy, Tommy Lucia and Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and TC the bull
- Join HANK-FM, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, for a “Date with a cowboy” at Rock Bottom Brewery in downtown Indy and meet Bandy Murphy.
- Watch WISH TV CH 8 with Dick Wolfsie starting at 6:30 a.m. as he visits with Cowboy historian, Kenny Petet. Morning features include a live acoustic performance of the Toughest Cowboy anthem by Whiskey Falls and a special exhibition by Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey.
